MENA College of Management is in need of devoted Full-time Faculties for Fall Semester at the following:

2 Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Business Management (ref: BM2020)

Duties and Responsibilities

The new faculty members will teach courses in the Bachelor’s degree Management/Business core and specialization courses in the degree program in Human Resource Management.
They will also have commitments in academic advising, professional development, and institutional/community service.
The ability to teach specialization courses in MCM’s other Bachelor’s programs (Healthcare Management and Hospitality Management) is a plus.
Teaching excellence is the primary focus of the positions, followed by a strong research record or potential for quality research, and service to the college and community.

1 Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Hospitality Management (ref: BM2020)

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will primarily teach specialization courses in Hospitality Management, but may teach other Management/Business core courses as required.
The position will also require supervising hospitality management internship/practicum student field experiences. Outreach through cultivating and managing professional relations between the Hospitality Management program and businesses in the hospitality sector is required.
Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching, student advising, and institutional/community service, and must undertake high quality research that applies to the hospitality industry.
Qualification

An earned doctorate in a field of Business Management/ Hospitality or any related field from an internationally recognized university.  English language proficiency is a must as instruction at MCM is in English.

Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the ability:

To lead teaching, curriculum development, and course management activities supporting the College-wide commitment to continuous improvement of its courses and programs.
To engage actively in high-quality research/scholarly activity.
To undertake projects at the course level or College-wide focused on enhancing students’ practical experience.

Pakistan Association Dubai is recruiting to fill a number on vacancies for its upcoming medical centre - and the jobs are open to all nationalities.

Pakistan Association Dubai is recruiting to fill a number on vacancies for its upcoming medical centre - and the jobs are open to all nationalities.

The association will be hiring general practitioners, registered nurses, a receptionist, lab technician and radiographer for Pakistan Medical Centre, which is slated to open in August 2019.


General practitioners should have a valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) licence with at least two years of local experience while registered nurses should be DHA-licenced with two to three years of experience of managing clinics and daycare services.

The receptionist should be a graduate with good interpersonal communication and computer skills. In addition, insurance protocols and experience is mandatory.

The lab technician should be equipped with two to three years of experience dealing with hematology/bio-chemistry and willing to do multitasking with true ownership of all lab functions. Similarly, the radiographer should have a sound knowledge of FANR protocols and willing to do flexiblle hours.

Dr Faisal Ikram, president of Pakistan Association Dubai, said the jobs are open for all nationalities and 20 vacancies are to be filled in the first phase.

"Hiring is open to any nationality for the not for profit medical centre. But most of the doctors and specialists at PMC will be volunteers. Pakistan Medical Centre is a model of tolerance. Just like we welcome patients of all nationalities, similarly jobs are open for all nationalities who are qualified and meet the merit," said Dr Ikram.

He revealed that there will be more advertisements later for the jobs. "We will keep adding more. We have obviously big number of volunteers."
